Dr Ross has been a long-time music theory and history instructor. He has been teaching in the lower mainland since 1987 and has helped students of all ages and levels achieve their musical goals. Dr Ross has prepared hundreds of students to write their theory and history conservatory-level exams and those with their entrance exams at a post-secondary level. Recently Dr Ross has introduced  a preparatory course for the Advanced Placement music theory examination for those seeking university credits while still attending high school. He also teaches music appreciation to adults and conducted musicianship courses to improve students' ear-training and sight-reading skills.
