Two of my music appreciation students (Clive and Barbara) enjoyed a full tour of Budapest and Hungary. Instead of an overnight trip to Vienna we took a car tour to Lake Balaton. We also enjoyed many similar to that of the 2016 tour, along with these highlights:

  • Week-long Classical music concerts (Spring Festival)
  • Visit Balatonfüred and Tihány along Lake Balaton
  • Étterem Hét (Restaurant Week) which featured gourmet 3-course dinners @ 10 Euros
  • Sample Hungarian local wines and beers

Edna enjoyed a private one-on-one tour of Paris! We rented a two-bedroom condo in the Marais district and saw many of the key sights and attractions of Paris. Some of our highlights included:

  • The Louvre
  • Notre-Dame Cathedral
  • Sacre Coeur Cathedtral
  • Walking tour of the oldest parts of Paris
  • Eiffel Tower and Trocadero
  • L'Oranangerie
  • Trip to and tour of Versailles Palace
  • Fabulous meals out and at home too!

Paris 2015

Sziasztok mindenkinek! Hello there, everyone!

I'm hosting another fun-filled tour for March 2017 to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Dual Monarchy of Austria and Hungary (1867-1918). I'm anticipating another 9-day tour of Budapest and Vienna with similar attractions to those from the previous tours described below. In addition, I'll be giving a special mini-course "Humour in Music" at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary.

  • Contact me soon should you wish to learn further details.
  • Arrangements should be made before September to ensure we get the best airfare and accommodation prices.
  • Tour is limited to no more than 4 participants
